Loop of Seasons by DanielHerr

Nature

Some may get tired of this scene. Others like me never get enough. It was a cold and windy late evening. One of the last days when you can see a complete sunset, before the nightfall stops for summer. The title “Loop of Season” is chosen because there is still a lot of ice and snow around the whole area – but the plants and grass is growing and colors are conquering the landscape again.

Usually I do not create photos in black and white; this is one of the first processes I’ve made.

It was a day like any other, and my cousin and I had in mind to photograph the volcano Etna. Unfortunately, we were forced to change plans because in the afternoon several clouds approached there.
So we did a research to see if there was something interesting around us and we found three caves. In the afternoon we headed there to check their access.
The caves were carved by lava flows of the volcano. The entry of one of them looked majestic, it felt like being in front the entrance to hell.
