9 image panorama of the Milky Way arcing over the back side of light-painted Turret Arch in Arches National Park. Captured during a scouting run before our two sold out Night Sky Utah workshops.
Mt. Fuji seen from Lake Shoji is called “Kodaki-Fuji” (Fuji embracing her child) because it looks as though Fuji is embracing a mountain located in front of Fuji, which is one of the parasite volcanos. The reflections are real but taken separately with longer exposure and blended later since reflections on a water surface are much darker than the sky and I wanted to avoid massive noise.
